Volatility
The price of digital assets is subject to rapid and significant fluctuations. Partial or total losses of invested capital are possible. Past performance is not indicative of future performance.
Liquidity
Some digital assets may experience periods of marked illiquidity, making disposal or conversion difficult at favourable conditions. Liquidity windows may shrink sharply in times of market stress.
Irreversibility
Transactions on most blockchain networks are irreversible. An error in address or parameter may result in the definitive loss of transferred assets. Particular vigilance is required at every step.
Operational and custody risks
The operational security of crypto-assets relies on the mastery of private keys, whether entrusted to a regulated custodian or self-hosted. Technical risks (protocol vulnerabilities, fork, infrastructure compromise) may affect the availability or integrity of assets.
Jurisdictional and regulatory risk
The regulatory framework applicable to digital assets is evolving rapidly. Legislative or regulatory changes may alter the qualification of an asset, its holding modalities, its tax regime or its access conditions. Some assets may become ineligible for certain clienteles or jurisdictions.
Counterparty risk
Although we select our partners (custodians, platforms, market-makers) according to criteria of robustness and compliance, the risk of counterparty default remains. Contractual documentation specifies the allocation of responsibilities in each case.
No deposit guarantee
AlphaBridge Sàrl is not a bank and does not accept deposits from the public within the meaning of the Federal Banking Act. Client assets are not covered by the esisuisse deposit guarantee.
